was looking into LED DRLs

Have a look - eBay

Anyone had any experience? I am obsessed with Audi LED DRLs and today I saw a Porsche that ones similar to the ones in the above link. I'm not to fond of LED strips as it seems nothing but adhesive holds them in. I would only use the white while driving and I'll wire the blue into my car alarm indicator.

Would this work or completely fail? Any advise is greatly appreciated.

The white while driving shouldn't be a problem, but the blue wired to your alarm might be a problem.
And what you mean by "alarm indicator." Do you mean the lights that flash when the alarm is going off? or the blinking light in the cabin to show the alarm is activated?
If it's the flashing lights when the alarm goes off you'll have to do some simple modifications to the wiring setup a bit for it to work, but if it's the cabin blinking light there's some complicated issues to address.

Yes it will work. Alot of people have these lights. But they won't light anything up at night.

If not for the (in)ability to flash people without my HID on, I'd have ripped the dimming resistor from my DRL circuit and stuff a 9005 unit in mine.

Personally I think the LED's look tacky, even on the Audi's. I do have halos on my car but I never fixed them since I got tired of having them on.
