So I was looking through my glovebox and found the papers showing what the previous owner paid for the car.
1998 Camry LE
Retail price $20,218

"Elite package" wood dash, car mats. $907

Sport package - fog lights, rear spoiler, alloy wheels $1693
i found the window sticker in glove box as well, for a 1999 toyota camry solara v6 se, fully loaded, stick shift at around $26,000, and only worth around $7000 5 yeas later when i bought it.

I'm not sure how much the gen 3.5 was new, I'm guessing $21-22K. My gen 5.5 was probably around $20K new. Both were bought one year old so that was a nice savings while retaining the remainder of the factory warranty

That sounds like a very good price to me! The '10 cams should be dropping by the dealerships pretty soon, so it sounds to me like the dealer is trying to clear his lot for some new inventory Did you have to haggle much for that price??
