Is the emblem too big?

So I've had the mesh grill for a long time now and for the past 2 months started to look for an emblem in good shape for cheap and finally decided to get this. I was told its from a RAV4 and a big 6"x4" emblem with all the clips intact so I was able to just clip it in. After getting my hands on it and putting it on, it almost looks too big, but I kind of like how it's exaggerated on such a small grill.
I'd like to hear some of your opinions. If you'd like to see it from different angles, I can take more pics.

It does look a little big, but on the flip side, it looks unique too. I kind of think painting it black would be neat too - my aunt's Lexus has those black/charcoal emblems and I like them.

Looks good in my opinion. If you paint it black though I think itll blend in to much.

I've thought about painting it black, but the chrome is in such good condition it seems like a waste to cover it up.

I like the dark emblems too.

I agree that it'd be hard to see too if it's flat black.

But there is Duplicolor Metalcast that gives color to chrome for an anodized look. So I'm thinking I can use their "smoke" color to get the dark emblem but it stays reflective like chrome. Maybe then it won't blend in and stick out still. I'll have to find it and try it out.

I prefer the "clean" look so a badgeless grill would look best IMO. The emblem does look big, so if you decide to keep one on, I'd get a smaller one instead. I'd also leave it chrome as there would not be much contrast if you had a black emblem on there.

+1. It's blocking air flow too

This is from right after I finished putting it on the mesh grills and before I did the projector retrofit.

I do like the "clean" look too, but after a year of not doing anything and being bored while strapped for money, this was about the cheapest thing I could do. And lately I've been looking at some other cars with mesh grills and emblems, so I thought I'd try it out.

^I think the TRD badge would look nice. But I have to agree with the other members that the big emblem is unique.

honestly, i think it would look best with the emblem and minus the mesh top and bottom. but ive grow out of my mesh grille days. if ya keep the mesh id suggest leaving off the emblem. or doin somthing cool like a small TRD emblem in the lower right corner or somthin.

btw...nice work with the lights

I have to go with bigbird. I don't like it without the emblem, it looks better with it. I'm just having a hard time liking the mesh. At first it was cool, then it was played out, now it just screams "HOME DEPOT". It's hard to make a decision here. I'm going through a lot of thoughts on my own grill as well, I don't want to use the mesh but I want something different and nice.
