not a bad start to the project, personally I am assuming you have $2kish in funds, I would ditch the OEM wheel fetish and go with a good set of 18"s

hey i can get a set of 18 inch lexus or camry wheels with rubber for 500 bucks that look great i put the scion tc wheels on my 91 celica the guys at the dealership loved it but i used matrix centercaps

i was thinking about seat warmers (the two rectangle plugs on the center counsol for the switches) and i think the seat fabric zipps off right?

i am looking for a muffler...nothing obnoxus but classy lol if that describs a muffler sound

also would anyone recomend newer bulbs for the head light (white light no blue stuff) or am i better off buying an aftermarket asembly glasses at night with a scratchy windsheild and dim headlights just dont do it

i was also trying to figure out somthing with the antena i mean pop up antenas are so 1993 lol

thanks guys

true, but OEM wheels are heavy and they wouldne even be an upgrade.

i believe the fabric is velcroed on iirc.

magnaflow mufflers sound good...but do ya have a 4 cyl or V6. check put clips on youtube, youll get a good preview of peoples setups.

if your trying to upgrade the look id go for some projector headlights and HIDs. REALLY classes up the look of the car.

look at the camry stickies and youll find an S2000 antena conversion...also looks really clean.

you should provide more information on your camry

and say no to painting wipers
if you got a lot of cash i would just work on my engine, suspension, exterior modification (carbon fiber/quality headlights).

ok its a 94 purplish/gold coup automatic rev2 5sfe..."gold package" lol with a bit of wheel well rust that i can fix with a bit of west system

reason for stock wheels...they are not flashy they ar just enough to catch someones attention...plus fuckin lo pro tires give a shitless ride and are expensive to replace my celica cost me 600$ last year in pothole mishaps/jaming on the brakes creating a flat spot and i just dont find the aftermarket wheels atractive...

no its an automatic but ill be dammed if some computer is gona tell me when to shift so i want to rip an automatic shifter out of a 4runner (toyota junkyard 5 miles down the road) just for looks i mean its like a pistol grip shifter instead of a donkey di@% ...i wouldnt mind playing around with the shift times and firming it up maby a diffrent trans or torque converter

i want to paint the wiper arms a dark gunmeatel grey matching the wheels not like guito yellow lol a subtle toutch

now about theise headlight conversin i want it to look nice not gaudy and be frigin bright

another thing the grille any ideas? thanks guys

at first after my celica bit the bullit on a corner i hated this camry but its easy to drive and way more reliable than my old rev1 5sfe and it just looks crappy...we will change this

thanks again

3rd Generation

If you're very persistant about getting OEM wheels at least make sure they look and ride well.

You don't have to go lo pro if you dont want too but asthetically I think going higher than 55 + profile will look funky with nice rims on.

Headlights and tails look up your year and model on Ebay and go for the DEPO ones, they look sick! Also just get some nice silverstar ultras or something rather than spending the dough and pain in the ass with HIDs (but that's up to you).

For shifter you can search and find a DIY on how to replace one. For tranny and torque converter you are lost though my friend, our engines don't have much compatibility with aftermarket parts. What you could do is swap out what you have for a manual from a celica, or mr2 though!

Everything else is completely custom DIY stuff, and up to you entirely! Good luck, and let us know how it goes oh yeah and POST PICS!
