Track Day !!!

Went to Union Grove with the Camry today for the hell of it.
Started off by running 18.1, 18.24, ect.. Came up to my last run, went around the water box so no burn out. Ended up running a 17.810 in the 1/4 with the reaction time of .020. SICK !
haha i think 97's run like 19's stock?

But i have a Flowmaster 40 series, K&N Drop in so that is it.

I have a slight misfire, bad egr, bad bank 2 O2 sensor dirty filter ect.. Also tranny needs a flush. Can't imagine what i will run when i get it all fixed.
Also had my car hooked up to a scanner and saw i'm only 77% throttle. Idk if that's a stock tune or what but i should be at 100%.

So what are some good cheap mods for a 5sfe my friends!!!

Sorry i'm in a good mood coming back from the track on pulling of a really nice last run.

Good job man. What i recomend is swapping in a manual trans if its not and get a stage one racing clutch and an light weight fly wheel celia headers and a nice short ram or cold air intake and clean out your engine and trans and i guarantee you will be running high 15's low 16's on street tires . I noticed your from chicago just like me if you want to check out my setup then pm me and ill meet up with you

The cheapest mods for a 5sfe that you don't already have is a high flow cat. or test pipe, ngk iridium spark plugs, ngk spark plug wires, unorthodox racing crank pulley, obx headers, supra injectors and thats about it besides the more expensive stuff. Nice run.

Hey Plbiohazard what'd you do to your car. Can't really find your setup.

Yes i heard hi flow cat or test pipe will really free everything up.. But i do still have emissions. My cat is bad as it is. Would it help if i replaced my cat with another one?

I'm still confused with these Celica headers. Is it even worth the hacking of it? And is there a o2 plug for it?

You could replace the cat with a magnaflow or bosal high flow cat and pass emissions. I don't know much about the celica headers but I do know that obx makes headers that fit the 5sfe and from looking at their dynos they result in some good gains in the top end range.
