3rd Generation How can i get some more ponies outta my 93 V-6?

so im getting ready for my 5 speed swap parts maybe coming in on monday for those who are following me. so in honor of my new freedom i thought i would step it up a notch incase some people want to go toe to toe with me on the highway lol so im just looking to raise some horsepower without going forced induction which i know isnt possible on my engine unless its custom... i might do cold air intake if its possible.... but are there any alternatives? maybe so i can reach 200hp ?

and can someone give me a list of exhausts ive seen maganaflows for my car but is there anything else?

please post some links if you know of any exhausts and or performance mods ^_^

thanks

your not gonna get much. but the 3vz yeilds more then the 1mz for NA tuneup. a good cleaning of the motor, perform some of toysrme's cheap/free mods, full exhaust(nothing made for the 3vz...all custom but the jpp stuff should fit), tuner with good tune and p&p are good starters. but it wont be alot. the most i remember someone got out of the 3vz in the past was about an even 200hp, im sure you can get more but not much compared to FI.

100% custom my friend. the JPP/OBX headers and y pipe should fit but dotn quote me on that. gen4 catbacks have to be modded a litte(hangers) to fit but have the bends in the right places.

the MOST important thing you can do if your NA is gonna be to rebuild the Y-pipe. headers wont do much and neither will a big exhaust...2.5 would be more then enough.

+1

Just build one. At a later date you can upgrade to a better filter as well!

There's about 987234987632980750987236 DIY's on here and all over the web on how to build a custom cold air intake btw
