18" BBS CH wheels on a 3.5? opinions please

so i tracked down and found some 18" BBS CH wheels wrapped around by some pirellis that have 75% tread left for $500.... is this a good deal? the guy said that each rim was $500 and the tires were $200 a piece. i might be able to talk him down a little bit because there is some curb rash that is "not too bad".

here is a google image link for what they look like:
http://images.google.com/images?hl=e...mages&aq=f&oq=

my friend has a blacked out pair with some red rimtape on his s4. i think they look good on his car and ive seen them mostly on audi's and vw's but what do you guys think on a emerald green gen3.5 camry? granted i could take the time and paint them a more appropriate color. i think they come silver (not chrome) from the guy.

They'd look great IMO, whats the offset, and size tires?...oh yeah, 500 is a good deal for BBS's!

Try photoshopping them onto your car to see how they'd look. Ask him for the specs of the wheels/tires to be sure that they fit.

i was so excited to find these wheels at such a great price but... after a little back and forth with the seller i think he realized that they were too good of a deal too . must have talked to some of his friends or something, anyways he wants 800 now for them now. i offered 500 but he wont be getting back to me till the end of summer if he doesnt sell them.

so this kind of got me thinking... why stop at 18" when i could potentially get 20". my big concern at this point is whether or not it will effect ride quality? i am new to the whole tires and package scene, all i know is that i need some 5 lug 5x114.3 to be able to fit on the camry. idk what other numbers i should ask for which most of the time the seller doesnt even know... any help?

also i found some other deals, could you guys vote on what you think would look good. i am trying to stay away from black rims, i really want to get some silver wheels cuz the stock hubs are silver and works color wise for the car. here are some pictures and descriptions of other potentials i found:

(best picture provided sadly enough)
4 stock oem Lexus 17" rims. 5lug. p225/55 r17. Dunlop Sp sport Run flat tires. Rims have no chips or rust. All 4 center caps. Tires are still new. 400o.b.o.
205/40R17 Ventus low profile tires 17" G racing rims asks for $400.00

Brand new these 18" rims and tires were $2000.00. There were on my vehicle for maybe a month. They have maybe 200 miles on them. The tires alone are 1000.00, so it's like getting the rims free. Also have wheel locks.
500.00 or best offer.

Hankook Ventus V4 ES 225/35-20 90W brand new wrapped nicely around 20" Jetwheel rims.

18 inch sport max rims and tires perfect cond. $725 obo

just sold my honda dont need em no more
used for only one summer so tires are still great
no dents or scratches

INTERESTING..
(Four) TRD Super 5-Spoke 18" Alloy Wheels and All Season Pirelli Pzero Nero Tires 215/35 ZR 18

These tires came with the car when purchased from the dealer, buyer did not like, removed four weeks later - near new condition! (small cosmetic scratch - see picture below) Tread looks BRAND NEW!

Suggested Retail: $1,999.00

I am selling a set of 18 inch Italia Inbox Stainless Chrome Face with Black Accent wheels for $400 MUST SELL, THIS IS A GREAT OFFER . Wheels are fwd, 5 lug universal, they came off a 02 Impala. I no longer own the car so I am selling the tires. Tires and rims are in good condition ready to ride

GREAT DEAL.. WAS THINKING OF SWAPPING CENTER CAPS AND PAINTING IT LIGHTER
For sale is a set (x4) of 18" wheels with continental tires that will fit e46 and e36 bimmers. There are bunch of scratches and the tires have rub marks from rubbing the fender (it was on a very low car). It is yours for $140 for the whole set.
$$750
18 BMW 3 series rims and run flat tires

These rims came off from a 07 328i. the rims selling with tires Dunlop front 225/35 rear 225/40. These are all RUN FLAT tires. The pic you see below is the actual car with the rims.
NEEDS CENTER CAPS BUT ONLY $100... DONT KNOW HOW BIG THO.
Audi A4 aftermaket rims and tires. rims are almost perfect one has very small bend. tires are at 2mm goodyear F1s.

I have a set of 18" Lexus SC430 rims and tires. Rims are 18 x 8 with a 5 x 114.3(4.5") bolt pattern and 45 offset. Tires are Goodyear Eagle GT (225-40-18) and are all matching with around 8,000 miles on them. I had them balanced about a month ago. Asking $550 or best offer.

I APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE IF SOME OF THESE PICTURES DISAPPEAR, SOME OF THEM ARE HOSTED BY CRAIGSLIST. Thanks for any input!!

1st set you can't even tell what they look like.

2nd set, I would stay away from because they use the hex looking lugnuts. Easy to steal the rims off your car.

3rd set. Two thumbs up.

4th and 5th set. NO.

6th set. If that is the actual picture of the rim/rims. They won't fit as they are 4-lug.

7th set. If you like them

8th and 9th set. BMW's lug pattern are 5x120mm, which don't fit.

10th set. Audi's are 5x112 or 5X120mm, don't remember.

11th set. If you like them.
