1996 camery 4 cyl.trans lock

Hi,how can i get the trans. out of park?All wiring is missing from car.Is there a way to get it out of park,key turned on does not help. Thank You, Bob

what on earth do you mean, all wiring is missing from car? If this is a service shop type request, then you could loosen the nut on the shift cable at the transmission and pull the lever out of park.

There is a small plastic cap to the right of the shifter. Pop it out and press a screwdriver down into it, then move the shifter. You need to hold it down to move it.
