3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
So i really wanted to get a new set of rims with tires but i really don't have the money. I have a 99 Camry I-4. I saw a 2009 Toyota Avalon limited the other day and kinda liked the rims on it. Would P215/55R17 tires fit on my Camry without rubbing or any problems? The reason i would get these rims is because i found the same 09 Avalon in a junk yard with the rims and tires in mint condition.
i can get tires, but not rims, right now, i just want something that will make the car look better. The rims looked nice to me and they have the same bolt pattern and are the same size as the rims i wanted that would fit the car. What do you think, good idea or bad idea?
yes those are the ones! i would like to paint them black.
Naaa, no black, that would look too ricey in my opinion. It'll start peeling after awhile and will look VERY ugly. I suppose it could depend on the color of your car. What color is it? And wait, you found an '09 avy in the junkyard already?!?!!?!?!?! That must have been a horrible accident!

guys...don't forget the most important thing, OFFSET! you can fit up to a 225 with no spacers granted you have the proper offset.
find out the specs of the wheels, and then report back.
