loud annoying humming sound

ever since i got my camry once you hit about 40mph there is a loud humming sound. i know its not the tires because i have changed them since i first got the car. it seems to be its loudest around 50 then gets a little lower but its still there. any help?

perhaps bad wheel bearings? Or maybe your wheels might be out of round, this happened to me a while ago

I have new pirelli tires and they make a humming noise too when i get to going around 35 or more. I always thought it was just the tread on the road. That's what it sounds like to me. Just my 2 cents.

its louder than normal though. i can understand tire sound but in everyother car ive driven or been in its not this loud. and its not the tires becuase 4 different tires and wheels. how much do wheel bearings and how hard is it? thanks for the input guys

I was thinking wheel bearings like the other poster, then had another idea.

Check to see if your windshield was ever replaced. Possible a pinhole airleak.

Does it happen while on gas? Off gas? Accelerating/decelerating? If safe to do so, in neutral?

Here is on checking rear hub bearing assembly. Couldn't find their wheel bearing noise diagnosis page. But it's usually speed related.

Yours sounds more like a driveline component noise problem. ??

i did notice a small hairline crack under the rear view but i dont think it would make such a loud noise. and it happens at 30+ mph no matter if im giving it gas or not or neutral.

Did you ever fix this? Because I have the same problem as well. You can hear a humming noise/road noise and it's loud.

no not yet =/ but all the responses i got was wheel bearings. when i have enough money i will

Haha yeah, it's so annoying! When I go above 30 mph, i start getting the loud humming noise
