93 Sprung a Leak

I was at the store today and when I came out I noticed what appeared like water coming from under my car. I didn't give it much thought since there are so many people watering lawns, runoff is common place.

I get about a half mile down the road and my temp gage is rising. I drive to the first open parking lot (1/8 of a mile) and park it. Look under the hood and can only tell that it is coming from the lower part of the radiator (didn't appear to be a hose). The front of the radiator was wet in about a 6"-8" diameter area on the right side (if one is facing the rear of the car).

Since my insurance covers towing, I had it towed a mile down the road to a repair shop (radiator is well beyond my capability).

This is the car that I got on the road Friday after it sat for three years. I was expecting a hose, but the hoses all seem to be in good shape.

Anyway, the car overall runs great and I couldn't be happier (well, except for this radiator thing). She runs good, may need a tune-up, but I am pleased. I put 100 miles on her since getting her on the road, had it on the backroads, city, and freeway driving. Took it up to about 95 and it ran real smooth. Obviously it needs some tweaking after being down that long, but I will deal with that as issues arise.
