UPDATE: GOOD NEWS. Car is running well!
I just got the car from the shop. Mechanic showed me that the first mechanics broke a small tooth from a "sprocket" near the timing belt, this caused the problem. The timing belt itself was on the correct marks.
There were also some codes for the camshaft and crank sensor. This was corrected.
Costs $350 for everything and the vehicle is great, has about 244k miles. Mechanic said he has never seen an engine in that condition with so many miles. He said it should last a while as long as I take care of it.
Thanks to all for advice on here.
