I just purchased a 93 camry 6 cyl standard and wouldn't you know it the clutch went the first night my son drove it. When i pulled off the transaxle i found that there was no pilot bearing and the new clutch kit had one included but does not seam to work with the existing input shaft. my question is does this model of car not have a pilot bearing? (it's not shown in any manual i have looked at) i was a bit of a motor head as a kid and i am sure having fun working on this Toyota (are they ever built well!)

no worries- no pilot bearing...the pilot bearing that comes with the kit is for the mr2

thanks i figured that but just wanted to make sure ( now i will follow the instructions on another thread on how to remove the bearing thanks for the help, much appreciated!)
