How to bypass the neutral safety switch on a 99 camry?

Well my car recently started blowing the 10a gauge fuse everytime I put it in reverse. After some hunting on the internet I found that whenever I crank it and then unplug the neutral safety switch it does not blow the fuse. I don't want to spend $100-200 on a new switch since the car is at close to 300k miles and on its last leg anyways. I never have any problems with trying to start it in drive. Does anyone know how I would bypass this switch so I can have my gauges/power windows etc back? Thanks

Dont un-plug n-safety switch. Look at the wires at the left trunk hinge. The wires break and short, if one happens to be for back-up lights this will blow fuse.

Thanks, I checked that first and the wires are intact all the way back to the front of the car. Only thing that works is unplugging the neutral safety switch.

I just went through this. It was hard to spot the frayed wires for the back up lights in the trunk bundle. Had to remove the padding on the left side of the trunk since the problem was right where the bundle disappears into car body. Had to climb into trunk with flashlight to tape them up. No more blown 10 amp fuses.
