Dogbone... easy as undoing the bolts and replacing with the new one. Somtimes you need someone to help push the engine to line the bolts back up, but other than that, it's straight forward enough.

The front/bottom one? Either need a trolley jack to help hold the engine up whilst you undo the bolts to replace with. Your best bet would be with an engine sling to hold the engine up and do the rear at the same time.

Check the transmission engine mount/torque rod at the same time if it's a V6.

Nah mate, I only replaced mine about 2 months ago... just sometimes the engine leans forward ever so slightly and needs to have someone push it back a bit to line the bolts up again.

Take ya about 5 mins I reckon.

Yeah, there's the metal ring in the middle on mine... wasn't even connected to the rubber bushing thing in the middle of it. Completely worn... quite common on the Camrys.

Well, put it this way - it was a hell of a lot more noticeable once it was replaced. Normally when shifting gears or changing between D & R could be more noticeable. You'd wanna check the whole lot honestly... I know that once the dogbone mount's gone, it puts more stress on the other mounts which shorten their lifespan at the same time. Normally the front is the first... back not so much.

I replaced my transmission torque mount only just yesterday (had it sitting in the car for 8 months before I replaced it), which I got from Adam (ASG14). Made one hell of a difference to the Auto box not moving when shifting plus other things.
