Bypass 93 factory passive alarm?

Hey,
Does anyone knowhow to, or have a schematic to bypass the passive alarm. Its really annoying. You can't open more than one door without the alarm going off, ect, have to turn the ignition back and forth twice to stop it. Its very annoying. I don't wanna deal with it anymore. I walk away from the car and it'll go off cause I shut my drivers door before the passenger shut theirs. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I didn't know you could get a factory alarm back in 1993. Anyway, there's no fuse or brain you can pull the power from?

It's aftermarket for sure. Check your driver side sickpanel for a small black plastic box.

Nope, it's factory if you can believe it. Let me guess, it has the little switch with the red blinking light mounted in the center console next to the parking brake handle? I have the same thing on my 93, and I have done lots of research, but havent found a way to disable it yet.

Yup mnyball34, is right. But that sucks, I can't seem to find anything. I'm almost ready to just figure it out myself, but who knows what kind of headaches I'll make.

The box that controls it is under the driver's seat. I have never been brave enough to unplug it.... I know for sure if you do, you will lose keyless entry at a minimum.

I'm guessing it doesn't have starter kill, and I assume it's hooked up to the horn? If it were me, I'd try unplugging the brain but do that at your own risk of course.

Anybody know if you can change it to active arming? I know on my aunt's Accord I managed to set the alarm off because it armed itself and I opened the door. I had to switch it to active arming.

Then you woul;d have guessed wrong! Believe it or not, even my 94 factory alarm has starter kill and honks the horn and flashes the lights. I made the mistake one night and set it off when I unlocked the door with the key and not the remote and I got in to start it and.. nothing! I was surprised too to know that it even had starter kill back then!
