Hi, i've got the pure clear tails for my '94 camry coupe. I don't fully like the look they give my car so i was wondering if its possible to tint them, give them a more grey look instead of shocking white
I used it on my camry, it came out great! gotta make sure you do 1 layer, let it dry, next layer, let it dry, next, Etc... or else it will drip. Make sure you tape off your tail lights with newspaper and painters tape!
i wouldnt personally tint clear tails black, that will make them even harder to see. BUT what a few have done is paint them all red and that looks great.
I appreciate the tips but im not lookin to tint them fully black but more of a light grey. I would still like them to be clear but not white if that makes sense.
I like to use the film to tint.
Because it's diffcult for me to spray the paint evenly.
If the paint didn't be sprayed evenly, when the light come out, it would be very ugly.
The tint film is just like the window tint film, they have different kinds of darkness.
got awesome service with them and they have alot of film/vinyl
Shitty service, damn website doesn't even work.

Ok, ignore my previous post. The link didn't work at first. Now it does. I have never dealt with them so I don't know how the actual service is.

A bought a few things from them on eBay. I also have had only positive experience from them. It's whom I got the tint film originally to do my rear tail lights.
Another mod that I've been thinking to do is taking apart the lenses from the tailight housing, then spray black on the housing. That way you can keep more light output and the cleaniess of the plastic lenses. I will do some experiment on my old stock tail first when I have some time on my hand.
