fuel injector removal

94 camry le 4 cylinder
What parts do I have to take off to get to and remove the fuel injectors in my car?

Taking out the intake tubing would make it a lot easier.

The 2 fuel lines in it (obviously). For the line in, it would be easiest to remove from the fuel filter.

There are just 2 screws holding the rail onto the head.

Pull the valve cover to access the electrical connectors easier. Change the gasket if needed, or be prepared to silicone by the cam endpoints when you replace the cover.

You'll need to replace all the seals on the injectors, a kit is available.

If you remove any of the banjo style fittings on the fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator, you'll need new copper crush washers.

If you pull the air intake, you'll need a new gasket for it.

^ What? The air intake doesn't have any gasket. It's a rubber tube.

So you can get to and remove the fuel rail and injectors by taking off the only the valve cover? Have you done it this way before? I just found in my shop manual and the procedure they list says to take out the intake manifold.

Also, where do you buy just the copper crush washers? The Stealer?

I think he means between the intake manifold/plenum chamber and the head.
