Hi guys

I was wondering. What ´s the right procedure to clean the EGR filter and where it is located.

As well what is the right way to replace the fuel filter?

Thanks for any advice. Mine is a 97 1MZ

Um...there's no EGR filter...

That´s weird

There isn´t some sort of filter near by the EGR?

There is a filter in a small can (Called EGR vacuum modulator)with plastic top. Can has 3 vacuum lines connected to it.

Pry off cap, take out foam pad and clean. I just did my 4cyl's on the weekend. I cleaned with soap and water, rinsed and then let it dry in the sun.

Hajoca thank you, after doing my homework , I realize now that´s something is only in the 5s-fe....... 1MZ doesn´t have vacuum modulator .......... or at least one that needs attention on this sense.
