3rd Generation need help with brake upgrade

its about time to change the pads on i4 3.5 i so i figure instead of just changing the pads, why not get an upgrade while im at it. i like where the brakes are at now but wouldnt mind have the braking power of newer cars. my dads G and my moms highlander both are a lot more responsive than mine. i believe i have discs in the front and drums in the back.

have heard of guys taking the brakes off of bigger lexus sedans for better braking. i just got some rims so it would also add an aesthetic touch to maybe see some new calipers or atleast painted ones vs. the rusted ones i have now.

any suggestions? right now im thinking of just painting the calipers a nice color and changing the pads with GreenStuff (i think thats what it is called).

I installed drilled and slotted rotors from Trinet about a couple of years ago and they are da bom. I'm sure there are other brands that are just as good for the price. They are much better than stock. I would just repaint the calipers and go this route, much cheaper with less hassle with different sizes to deal with. Btw, dont forget your ceramics, a must have. Good Luck
