3rd Generation Hot AC need help!

I have little problem with my air conditioning unit its blowing hot air... I had my timing belt replaced and when I got the car back the windshield washer tank was disconnected the brake sensor wouldn't go off. I had to disconnect that to have my cruise control working. I'm wondering if it might need charging but when I turn the AC on the radiator fan usually comes on as well now it only comes periodically like when driving for a long time. I need help to see if anything else might cause that to happen before I think about the worse situation like the compressor.

Hey! It ain't much to beat the block down, but it'll work for now...

Is the compressor switching on or no? Listen for a click when you turn the AC on. Your engine should sound considerably louder...

You could also disconnect the compressor power (bottom right of engine, near the high pressure valve). Take a paper clip. There are 4 holes. Join together the 2 that are closer together to each other with the paper clip. This should force the compressor on.(This test is to see if the compressor even turns on...)

From the other problems you were having, I would agree that someone forgot to hook somthing up. But I had a similar issue and it turned out that a rock went through my AC condenser. You might check it for a hole while your under your car.
