Lug nut torque Specs

New member here. I have an 01 LE (obviously) with a V6. Just wondering if someone could hook me up with the torque specs for the wheels or point me in the right direction. I have been searching the net and couldn't find anything. Came upon this site and joined.
I was a collision for 11 years prior to my new career and can help out with any body work questions. I have worked on many a Toyota in my day. Thanks.

Look in the owners manual. My Camry and a Scion I owned was 78lbs as I recall. My daughter has the car so I can't look at the manual

05 camry lug nut specs are 78 ft-lbs... i can't imagine it'd be any different for your 01, since they have the same stud thread and pattern.

I reckon the best 'torque spec' is the tightest you can do it up with your wheel spanner. You can get a fair amount of torque on those as they're no short stubby thing and there's really no point going any tighter as it'll be a lot harder to remove(if you can) when you get a flat.

Thanks for the replies. I was guessing 80 ft lbs but wanted to be sure. The owners manual is useless. It doesn't even list oil capacity specs. I used to have a chart when I worked at the dealership but thats long gone. Thanks again for the help.

Just checked my Haynes manuals for Camry '92-'95, '96-'01 and '02-'05 and all say 76 foot pounds. Just watch those tire places which seem set on cranking them to 110'# 's.

76 foot pounds has been the correct torque for Camrys as far back as I've owned one, which is 1986. However, 80 foot pounds will work just as well. It's more important to tighten them evenly, than to worry about a couple of extra foot pounds.
