Left wheel shaking at speeds 60mph-90mph, 95-100mph+
i recently purchased 4 tires [P195-70-R14] with already balanced American Racing rims (with one extra rim). I put the tires on myself, but as a not so completely experienced vehicle enthusiast, I didnt put tuner lugs on. instead I had the factory lug nuts on all 4 wheels.
after a month or so, the left front wheel finally came loose and was violently wobbling with a lugnut coming completely off, and the other 4 almost all the way off. i brought my vehicle to a tire place and they explained how I had the wrong nuts on there. subsequently I bought a set of tuner lugs and had the people at the tire shop replace the old lug nuts with the new tuner lugs.
my problem: ever since the replacement, at the vehicle speeds indicated in the title of this thread, I get this severe shaking coming from the left wheel.
the kind gentlemen at the tire shop also pointed out to me how the holes in the very same rim were no longer round. they recommended I use the spare rim instead of the one with the messed up holes.
could the no longer round holes be the culprit in my mystery tire shaking problem? or could the loose wobbling wheel somehow have messed up my alignment?
