it seems like the grille on my 97 camry le doesnt come off, it looks like it is attatched to the whole front bumper... are my suspicions correct? also have not seen any aftermarket grilles on ebay for the 97... hmm

Yup, it is part of the bumper. Only the Gen 4.5 grille is removable. Oh, the JDM Gen 4 grille is removable too.

so theres really no way to change that short of a new bumper... that sux lol oh well its not one of those 'big things'

Seen some people cut out the grille and custom made their own though.

I actually have a 3.5 but I was just wondering, are the car bodies between the gen4 and gen4.5 too different so you cant switch a gen4.5 bumper with removable grille onto a gen4? Because I know the body sytles are very similar but the tail lights are different, is it same for the headlights too?
