A/c Question

Hello all, I came over from Honda-tech to see if you guys can offer some advice as i am trying to fix my sisters car.

1. The AC only blows when the rotary knob is turned up to high. After some searching here I think the problem is the variable resistor. If I replace the climate control unit, will this fix my problem?

2. When taking out the climate control unit from the center console, how do you disconnect the slide knob that changes the air circulation?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

So the fan motor only blows when you have the switch turned up to high?

If that is the case it is most likely the blower motor resistor.
That is located on the blower motor. Here is a good thread about it.

That worked. Picked up the part at a local auto store and bam. Back in business. Thanks for the help.
