Left side rear axle?

The back left tire on my car is bent in a little bit. The tire has an uneven tread and you can see that the tire sits unevenly when you look from behind.

I'm assuming someone hit a curb. What exactly is the part called that's bent? Axle, CV Halfshaft?

And where could I buy this part for cheap? Local Autozone wants 60 bucks + tax for a CV Halfshaft. (If that's even it).

there are no axles on the rear only control arms. I would suggest taking it to a dealership or alignment shop and asking them to look around under there or see how close to spec they can get it

It can either be a bent strut, knuckle, or perhaps the rear control arm if its way out of spec. They'll be able to tell u when they perform a diagnostic alignment check. Hopefully tis nothin major for u so u can save some money, good luck.

I was going to go put on new tires at Sams Club this weekend and get an allignment done right away. I don't want to put on new tires and have them tread unevenly right away.

I guess I'll call Sams and see if they can look at it first.

I took it to a shop that my dad trusted, they inspected it for a little bit and gave me some really, really bad news. They said the whole assembly needs to be replaced. Knuckle, strut, control arm, everything. They ordered the whole assembly from a junkyard (with warranty) and are replacing it.

250 dollars for parts + labor.

My wallet. It burns.
