3rd Generation Central Locking Attempting to Lock/Unlock

I've never had this issue before but, I've parked my car and havent driven it for 4 days and the 3rd day it was making that central locking unlock/lock noise but the car is still lock. This was happening over and over till the 4th day it was still doing it and flatten the battery.

What is the cause of this issue?

Thanks in advance

Try doing a power drain on the car. It helped me a couple of times with multiple electrical issues. Im not sure if it will help you.
1) Disconnect all of the power cables from the battery.
2) Turn the car's key into "ACC" (accessory) mode.
3) Turn on the headlights (you may see the lights flash for a second or two, its just the power that is remaining in the cars system, which is what we are trying to get rid of.)
4) Press the button to lock/unlock the door a couple of times (nothing may happen).
5) Put the headlight switch back to the off position, and turn the car's key back to the off position.
6) Re-connect the battery cables and the issue should be gone.
