97 camry driver side mirror

I hit a pole at an atm with my driver side mirror, now the glass in it is all loose and the electric control won't work with it, I'm thinking something popped out or soemthing, hoping I don't need a new mirror... anyway- how do I remove the mirror so I can look at it and check it out (also so if I need to replace it I'll know how) thanks!

I found the mirror itself on ebay for about $20. If I were you, I'd rather throw in another $10 and get the whole mirror assembly. If you want to replace the whole assembly, you have to remove the inside door panel to disconnect the wires that go to it. That is as far as I know. If my guess is correct, you have to remove the triangular black piece closest to the front of the door (on the interior side, of course). Once you have removed that, take out the screws and the mirror assembly should come loose.

If the coloured plastic housing is not damaged or cracked, slip your fingers under the mirror and pull, it will pop off.

lol. well ebay has them for a cheap price. just buy one and install it. The procedure shouldn't be hard at all once you unplug the wire and remove the black triangular piece. It's pretty much straight forward.
