Help Radiator fan won't stop rotating

I have a 2001 Camry...the radiator fans keep rotating even when the ignition is off and the key is turned to the ON position.
It should normally stop rotating after a few seconds when the ignition is on at cold temp right? This time it just keeps going...

What may be the problem? Help me.

most likely a bad coolant temp sensor. its designed to turn on all the time if the sensors fail

Thanks for the reply. Yes, it's either the temp sensor or relay.

My car was doing the same thing.......couple guys at my local dealer I know spent 2+ hours going over it with me. FINALLY, 1 of them had an idea. Turned out to be a bad AC pressure sensor. Saying too much freon in the system keeping the fans on whenever the car was in the "ON" position, running or not.

That doesn't mean the sensor can't go faulty mate.

On my 98 avalon the ECT temp. switch went bad, cost me 60 something dollars and about 2 months of slowly trying to figure out what was wrong.

Check the relays first tho.

Thanks guys. The problem was somewhat similar to ASG14's problem.
Apparently there was a restriction in the condenser, so it created a high pressure that keeps the fans rotating all the time.
