Handles broken

Hey guys I'm trying to help a friend fix her 1996 Camry. The passenger front door wont open. the outside door handle wont open, I know it is the clip that attaches to the handle. I have replaced it before, however the door wont open from the inside, so I cant get the door panel off the fix it.

The handle on the inside is not damaged by the interior door handle bezel, I can hear the rod moving by the latch on the door.

How do I get this friggin door open to fix it?

Thanks for the help!

I was trying that. We can unlock the door just not get it open. With the slim jim should i just push it in by the handle and try to push DOWN on the rod to release the latch right?

It's worth a try pushing down. Since I assume that you can unlock the door using the slimjim, have someone go inside the car and push the door open while you have the slimjim in the correct position.

Thanks for the reply. But I'm not having a problem getting the door unlocked. I cant get it open cause the outer and inner door handles are broken. Is it possible to slim jim it by trying to pushing down on the rod that connects to the outer door handle?
