A couple of questions:
What is CF?
What is VIS?

I agree that the contrast between the hood/car makes it look incomplete. Nothing wrong with stock, I can see your point of view on that.

you can get a stock hood to replace a dented one for 40 bucks. or you can get a carbon fiber hood to save what? 20lbs? for 450 dollars plus shipping. sounds like you bought it and might regret it. seems like replacing the stock would have been much cheaper...I prefer all one color, if you keep the carbon hood, get the car painted and get hood pins... you're not saving all that much weight and if you plan on racing that camry, god help you!

Give me some links/suggestions on where I can find one. I've searched local junkyards but none have anything newer than the gen3 in decent condition.
As far as the CF hood goes, I got it for $50 picked up locally. It needs to be recleared but other than that, everything is good.
In regards to racing Camry's, I agree it's not the best tuning platform but it can def hold it's own. A big part of racing is based on driver skill and several people have tracked their Camry's and Solara's numerous times with good results

I was thinking the same.

Kyle you're crazy, I'll let you know if I decide to part with it. I'm most likely keeping it though.
