4th Generation P1410 97 Camry V6

I went to Autozone and they gave me this code

P1410
Valve possition sensor circuit malfunction

probable cause-
BB1 Open or short circuit condition
BB2 poor electrical connection.

.Where should I start looking. I cleaned the throttle body white smoke covered the neighborhood and all that. Engine light is still on. I attached the picture of one of the sensors.Should I start replacing sensors? Light is on and off. usually it comes back on in the morning when I start the car. Thanks a guys.

Sorry for the late response but after you installed it did you reset the computer? basically remove the negative terminal of the battery then reconnect it like 10 secs later....

i had to do this...but if its still not the problem i suggest you get a haynes manual those things are life savers

Or pull the EFI (5A) fuse for a minute. It saves your clock and radio stations.

I reset the computer but light comes back on , not right away but after a day or two. Do you think that other sensors could give the same code??

I took a look at EGR valve today, other that simple 3 bolts on the front it has two bolts on the back that connect to the pipe. How the hell do I get access to those?? Is it better to disconnect the pipe on the bottom and pull everything up??
