Canada Distributor O-ring

Hey guys

I have a 92 Camry V6 3VZFE. Is there a step by step here for doing the distributor o-ring? Let me know when taking the distributor off how precise I need to be for the timing.

Also I seem to be losing power steering fluid in my reservoir, I don't see any leaks so I'm wondering if its the high pressure line. If it is, what do you guys recommend?

For setting the timing, either mark the head and the distributor with liquid paper before removing or get a timing light. For the PS, take a good look at the boots on the rack and the hoses. You can see the lines better by getting under the car.

Both lines that come off of the P/S cannister are high pressure (I'm pretty sure).

How to test it: Put a clean piece of cardboard under your car (large piece). Turn the car on and in park, start turning the steering wheel all the way to the left and all way to the right. Do this for a few minutes. If you take the cardboard out and it has small droplets all over the place, you have a small leak in your P/S hoses.

If it's not that...inspect your rack and pinion.

There is a website based outta Canada where you can buy the dizzy seal and bearing kit to service the dizzies from the 3VZs. Not sure on the website anymore, someone here might have an idea. As for a guide, I wouldn't know where to start.

Apparently my O Ring needs to be replaced as well... I'm not too worried as the oil comes out the other end anyway and isn't causing any problems. I guess if it's leaking only a tiny bit, then I wouldn't be too worried. If the O Ring needed replacing and wasn't leaking, it'd be building up and probably causing more problems. I would replace mine, but when I service my car every 5000km, I get the mechanic to just wipe the oil off.. simple as that.
