Wow - didn't even know this crowd exists, even though they're a 5 min drive away from here

I don't know how the American bulbs work and all that, but we use the H1 bulbs for High Beam and the H4s for Low Beam. I think you guys have the 9005 and 9006 stuff?

Another lad on here ended up importing some Gen 3 headlights and had to change the wiring harnesses over because the Gen 3 headlights are different to ours. Would only be within the last 5-6 pages of current threads if you look around for someone doing a "face and ass lift" to his Gen 3

thanks for the reply, with the the gen 4 headlights here, its just one 9003 or H4 bulb.

My next question is does any one know if they will fit in the 97 camry, space wise with the high beam?

You might also wanna ask this question on the Aussie Toyota forums as well lads!

www.auscam.org or au.toyotaownersclub.com are gonna be your best bets too.

The only reason why you won't get a direct answer is because of the difference in bulbs... You said that the 9003 is the same as the H4? Nice. How about the H1s? Completely different lingo as you can see. As I mentioned before, someone imported some Aussie Gen 3 headlights to the U.S and seem to work fine, he just needed an aftermarket wiring harness.

Here's the link:

Face and Ass lift! (56K, pop a tent, and roll out a sleeping bag!!)
