I've checked the resistance of the sending unit, it's ok. I've checked the continuity of the sending wire from the sending unit to the back of the instrument cluster, that's ok. I've grounded out the sending wire, yet the gauge will not budge. Anyone ever run into this?

Same problem here. -Replaced Sending Unit- didn't help. -Checked resistance on dash gauge- OK -Grounded Sending Unit connector- gauge doesn't peg to HOT Wondering if there's a short or bad connection in the plastic connector itself... __________________ 1997 Camry LE 2.2L, 5SFE 160,000
