Oil Leak 94 Camry Rear of Motor Somewhere?
bit of a story here
94 camry 2.2 goes great but recently its started to leak oil onto the exhaust at rear of motor and smoke but only within 20secs or so of it being turned off and also leave a spot on the driveway i suspected rear main and booked into mech he suspected the same
my mech had the motor and gearbox split apart and rang me saying its not the rear main seal its bone dry in there so he put it back together and washed the motor down
since then i have had timing belt + all associated seals done
ive had the rocker/tappet cover gasket and dizzy seal done
ive had the trans serviced with new pan gasket and also a new sump gasket
the problem has slowed down but hasnt stopped i still get a cloud of smoke on some occasions withing 20secs of turning the key off
where could this oil be coming from apart from using dye i am out of ideas
