Emblem Help

I ripped off all of my emblems to sand them + repaint them. Question is...which tape should I use to reattach them? My car will never be garaged, so it needs to withstand snow, rain, ice, etc.

Also, which paint should I use to paint them?

3M makes a great double-sided foam tape meant for reattaching door moldings and trim. i used this on my badges and they have been holding strong for years in the worst conditions.

as for paint, cant help. i would venture to guess your should start off with an etching primer to help the paint stick.

3m also offers a very VERY strong glue made for emblems. you can find it at advanced auto for like $5 in a big bottle. deff worth the money.

Since you have sanded the emblem, just use a plastic primer, or a paint that is for outdoor plastics.

If using colour matched (to your car body) then you need a primer for sure.
