4th Generation help needed and ideas with projector retrofit problems

OK. bought the following
tsx projectors
Anzo gen 4.5 clear/chrome headlights with halo's
Osram bulbs and hella replica ballasts

this is a double wammy retrofit on this camry, as its a 98 and they are 00-01 headlights
SOOOOO
made the harness, it works like a dream, highbeams and lows beams work together perfectly when high beams are hit on.

MY QUESTION IS AS FOLLOWS!!!!

Upon cooking the first headlight in the stove for 10 mins @ 175 degrees, i ran into a problem.
(this is my second retrofit all together)
When i began prying at the headlight with a flat head screw driver, the plastic began cracking a crumbling (not the face plastic, but the rear what looked like metal, plastic.)

OK. WTF!!!
this doesnt happen with OEM headlights, so clearly these are poorer quality.

I need to know if ANYONE knows how to get these 4.5 Anzo headlights apart!!!
ive seen the retro done before without a hitch on here, but i clearly am doing something wrong, or i got a cheaper version somehow!!!!

ideas people!!!!

How about a higher oven temperature? I usually do about 250 deg. for about 8mins, and haven't had any issues. For you this should make the plastic a bit more pliable, and less prone to cracking.
