What should I do next?

My 95 camry (from previous thread) has been stalling (but not shutting off) while accelerating. It started off just doing it when I was running the A/C. Then after a few weeks it was doing it while running A/C and then for 10 minutes after shutting the A/C off. Now when I start it up, it runs great for about 10 minutes, and then without even using the A/C, it begins to stall when I accelerate, especially from a stop.

I fixed a leak in the air-intake duct and that didn't help.
I tried changing the fuel filter (never been changed, 187K miles!) but couldn't get the bottom nut off, and neither could my mechanic, who said he would break the fuel line if he tried any harder, so I can't change the filter now.

What should I do next? Keep in mind this Camry owes me NOTHING, its been great to me. The mechanic says I should just drive it, stalling and all, until something major comes up and then scrap it. Someone at work advised me to get a new fuel cap, because maybe thats it. Any suggestions?

Check the ISC (Idle Speed Controller) it's on the bottom of the throttle body.

this may be a dumb folllow up question...but if the idle air control is faulty, wouldn't the car idle badly too? this problem only occurs when I put my foot on the gas while driving. It idles fine, and it also revs fine when I'm in park and revving the engine.

I'm definitely going to check the IAC, but is there anything else it could be? do you think the gas cap could have anything at all to do with this? or my severely cracked radiator which I have to top off with antifreeze on a daily basis?

where would you get a fuel line? Every site i go to (advance auto, autozone, etc.) have the line going from the filter to the carburator/engine, but I can't find the one going from the gas tank to the fuel filter.

How likely is it that this is the problem? And why would it start and run fine for 15 minutes, and then start acting up once its warm?

Did your mechanic ever put a fuel pressure gage on the fuel rail and check the actual pressure, both cold and hot? Weak fuel pumps can cause problems when they get hot. Also, at the mileage you have on the car the coil inside the distributor can act up as they too get hot. Your mechanic can check that easily with a digital volt/ ohmeter and the specs from any manual, or you can do that yourself if you have access to a digital volt/ohmeter. Also visually inspect the coil for hairline cracks.
