4th Generation a/t with Manual shifting only?!?!?

does any one have a a/t shift kit conversion
looking into it. jsut wanted to see how they are
i know some one who builds customs one for just about anything
he's getting a altima 2.5 to chirp tires into 3rd gear under throttle
lol...

or how removing the shift solenoid electrical connector?
came across my mind since this should allow
manual shift how ever healthy or not it may be...

ha ha bored looking for some crazy conversation and opinions

time to flame/rant/speak your mind ha ha...

i'll let you know what i've done at the end of the week i hope ha ha

Actually once you get the patterns of solenoid activation needed to shift through the gears, all you need to do is get an electronically inclined friend to set up a circuit board.

With one paddle you up shift, and the other paddle you downshift. And as you do a display (LED) will show which gear you are in. And the circuit board activates the correct solenoid for the gear.

And more than that, you can probably tap the information from transmission ECU to tell you WHEN to shift!!

i know what it should do but every time i try to break it down my brain basically explodes. its too much for me. its why i drive a standard and leave that for the more knowing.

this has been asked a billion times. it wouldnt help even if you could controll the tranny, and youd never be able to get the car to cherp. i wouldnt waste your effort with persuing this isdea and just consider a manual swap if your serious about improving the car.
