97 camry LE 3.0L V6 auto trans to manual trans

I have a 1997 Toyota Camry LE with the 3.0 L V6 and its an automatic but i want to change it to a manual. Ive been doing alot of research on how to do it and reading up on some of your guys cars and how you did it and i guess i have to change the engine too which is no biggi but i want to keep a 3.0L engine in the car(even if it is a different engine just as long as it is a 3.0L or bigger) and then i want a manual transmission. Is that all possible? and if so what engine and transmission do i need in order do all of it-im sure all the parts dont match up perfectly but i would like it to be able to match up as well as possible. is all of this possible? please give me as much detail as possible, i am very anxious to get started on this project and i have the tools and resources to do it but i just need some help and input on what all you guys did and any tips that might help too. Thanks

TONS of info on this. both here and on solaraguy.com.

you wont need to swap the motor...just the trans and all manual parts.

oh and when searching...the trans code is E153 your engine is 1mz-fe.

dont know of anyone but search the forsale section here and on solaraguy. they go up for sale every now and then. sourcing the parts from junkyards will be the cheapest. here are a couple links that will help that a search might not yeild.
