People that like the debadged look will tell you to debadge. People that don't like debadging will tell you not to.

It's a matter of personal taste. If you've seen some debadged Camrys, and you like the look, then go for it.

I personally think most cars have badging overkill, and I hate the way wax gets in the nooks and crannies of the badging and pinstriping. So, I removed everything that didn't have pegs on my '95 V6 XLE. I removed the "Toyota", "V6", and "XLE" badges. I also removed the pinstriping and the vinyl dealership graphic that was on the trunk lid. I still have the Toyota symbol (some call it the Cowboy or Sombrero badge) and the C A M R Y on my center panel. Kept those because they're pegged and I didn't want to have to fill holes and repaint.

I de-badged mine and if your car has ever been outside for more than an hour....you'll see where the paint around the badges has faded whereas the paint UNDER the badges has not, so you still see what was there.

I don't really like the look on my camry (gen4). Some people can pull it off, but not my camry.

I was about to put them back on, to be honest.

I debadged the "Toyota" and "Vienta" badges off my rear end of the car... left the "Touring" badge on the rear centrepiece though.

Looks much cleaner in my opinion... each to their own
