3rd Generation Koni red installation?

My car is 96 Camry V6LE.
I use H&R Sport spring + Tokico HP shock.
After 3 years usage, my front 2 Tokicos were dead.
Front struts noise.(spring squeezing?)
(Thanks ghettosled, abew330, and JCamry94's opinions.)

Although Tokico has lifetime warranty, my Tokico were bought on ebay.
Tokico's warranty policy said,
"You need to have your original proof of purchase and make a claim with the business that you originally purchased the product from."
That means I have to ship the shocks to the original purchased distributor and then they ship back.

Considering the shipping fee and the time, I think getting a new pair might be better and easier.
So I want to try the Koni red shocks.
According to Koni's instruction, it looks like not very diffcult to DIY.
(KONI instruction pdf file)

1. Drilling a hole in the bottom of the old strut.

2.Measuring and cutting the old strut.

3.Inserting the KONI RED insert into the tube and the lower bolt and washers.

The instruction said using the factory strut to cut and install.
My question is : Can I use the Tokico HP to install?
And any tips will be appreciated.

Not yet.
At first I ordered from Tire Rack, they said they has only one left in stock, and they are not planning to get some new koni's within a month.
Then I ordered from www.suspensiononline.com.
This morning I got their letter,
"we are out of stock on these Koni’s and we have checked with Koni USA and they are out of stock as well. Koni Holland does have stock but it will take 4-6 weeks for them to arrive to us."
So I stiil have to wait.

BTW, i had found this DIY instruction on website, very helpful.
