LED bulbs flickering after installing HID kit
I installed this HID kit ( 10000K ) and didn't have a problem. I had this cool looking LED bulbs in my license plates and I brought them up front ( corner lights on a 93 camry)
and they flicker like Strobes sometimes.
Is the voltage handling on them different even though they originally came for the license plates. They are the same bulb size as the door panels and both front and rear corner lights.
Also,
My brake pedal goes like all the way down, cant even stop the car at a down slope. Really scarely sometimes. Is this primarily the Master Cylinder or it could be something else. I've had this car for 46K miles and haven't done anything and all of a sudden i'm always at the shop doing one thing or the other.
Currently at 146,500 miles.
I also have this annoying squeal / squeak on the front passenger brake. The pad has about 2000 miles on it and i believe its the metal sheet that sits the pad firmly. i've sprayed it with WD 40 numerous times and tried to bend it but I just cant get it to stop. Its not even touching the rim or anything just an annoying squell that continues even after you get foot off the brake pedal then stops when you speed up some. Other times it will persist well into the 50s.mph.
Lastly, has anyone changed a blown trans axle?
I hit a huge hole an hour into a 7hr trip up North ( NC - NJ) and 2 hrs later, i get this annoying vibration only with foot on the gas accelerating. Stops as soon as I get foot off gas. Works great with cruise control until you get to a hill. I replaced the dog bone, a sway bar link and had rims balanced in DE, 2 hrs before my destination. I even thought there was a bend on the rim.
One mechanic told me my transmission was the problem, something to do with bearings. I took the car in to a tranny shop and they test drove it. Thank God the tranny is flawless turns out my axle on that side is busted.
What i'm asking, is an axle supposed to show these symptoms whether coasting or under a load?
Sorry this is a huge post, but these few things been driving me NUTS. Especially after i coughed up almost $700 in the last 3 weeks for a timing belt job.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
Again, the car is a 93 Camry. XLE 2.2
I havent done anything major the past 46K miles i've had it
146500 currently on the clock.
Again,
Thanks
