offset maddness

well i scored me a set of 07 se rims for 150, and now i need me some tires

so they are 17x7.0 with a 45 offset.

what is the widest i can fit on there without rubbing on the inside without spacers.

so stock is 215/55r17 would like 225 or 235 work? i'm fully retarted when it comes to offset.

215/50/r17 is perfect.

Going with 225 or 235 is unnecessary.
you could go with 225 but it would look a little odd.

215 should be fine...225 will add a little traction but also some tire bulge(a little insurance for thoes curbing occasions).

BTW...welcome back...havnt seen you post here in a while.

id rather go with 225/45-17 .. less likely to rub if or when you decide to lower.
