So would it be possible to put the 5VZ-FE into the 3 or 3.5 gen camry?

i wouldn't know why if anyone wants to put 5vz cams in the 3vz after reading that.

people put in cams to increase power band rpm a little, suffer a little loss of torque but generate higher top end horsepower.

it seems like 5VZ cams does the opposite in a 3VZ, even more lower end torque..and may get less top end power.

As far as I can gather from other sources, the mid and top end don't change much, very little. More lower end torque gets you 0-60 much faster. Throw on a turbo and gusto! While you are waiting for your turbo to spool up, you are already gone. The turbo takes care of the rest of the RPM range. I would definitely like to see such a combination in action.

the 5vz does fit and a member long ago did it. he was even trying to get a group buy together for a mounts. of course no one wanted to pay for it and it wasnt really practical when you consider how good the 3vz is to turbo.
