Pull the plug. Refer to the NGK pictures and see if that plug is fouled.

Check the plug gap and conditin of the electrodes.
Measure the resistance of the plug wire. Sometimes a break in the conductor will still measure good. So it's kinda iffy.
Check coil resistance. As others suggested, swap locations and see if the code moves (eg P0303 P0301)
Check distributor rotor/cap contacts and general condition.
Do an injector cleaning, include Chevron Techron, Seafoam and other products.
If this still doesn't solve the problem try a compression or leakdown test. But this prolonged problem likely will show up as abnormal spark plug condition (carbon foul, oil foul).
