Remote Starter on Camry 99

My car - Camry 99
I got Code alarm remote starter and alarm installed on it. For last couple of months the remote start function is not working. I observed that the LED at the left side below of the steering wheel is always switched on when I start the car. It was not so earllier. The keyless and alarm works. I dont find the code alarm web site and there is nobody in Columbus who repairs it.
Any help is highly appriciated,
thanks in advance

sounds like you could have possibly put it in a valet mode by mistake. what company and model number (if you have it) is your system made by? who did the install?

http://www.powercallsirens.com/remotes.aspx

any of those remotes look familiar? i'm trying to figure out if you put the car into valet mode... if we can figure out what system you have, we might be able to return things to normal. do you have the manual that came with the system? directions would be in there too....as well as a model number.

1) Turn your key to the ON posistion.
2) Press the emergency overide button in your car.
3) The red LED light should go out, indicating that you've exited valet mode.
4)

Valet mode basically turns off the security system and possibly the remote start feature. You'd use it if you had a valet park your car and didnt want him having to fiddle with the security system. (My system has a proxiemty sensor, and i don't need valets messing with that. )

btw... download, read, digest: http://webappshttp.voxdmz.audiovox.c...650_DOC_OM.pdf

It's fine man, this is what the forums are for.

That's gonna be tricky to find. Your best option would be to conact the dealer that did the instal and ask were it is. If you can't do that, start looking. Usually they're installed under the dash board area. It's usually a momentary button.
