for those of you already with retros, i was wondering if you have the same problem as i do
my problem is that the projector on my passenger side is "not focus"...
my best example of that is a flashlight.....the ones that you can focus the light onto one spot which in terms made if brighter, but the light output is smaller...or you can focus the light out more, but isn't as bright....
well one of my projector is like that....its light output is more spread out, but it has less light intensity, but the other one is more fixed into one spot which made it brighter
i was wondering if there is any way shape or form for me to "re-focus" the projector to make it more intense like the other one....or am i pretty much stuck to what i have??
i have hids on these already too so yea...please help thanks
If it's not in focus, it's likely that the bulb is sitting incorrectly within the projector, throwing off the focal point. Either that or you have garbage projectors or bulbs or both.

ty for the input dark....ill check to see if the bulbs are sitting correctly..because one side is good, its the other side that im worried about...again thanks....
i can honestly say i do not know....bought em off someone...but if it can't be helped its not a big problem....i'll just deal with it...at least they look good...lol..
trying to figure out what projector your using is a good start. what bulb size/type are they? HID/nonHID? are you using HIDs? cutoffs?
most of the problems ive seen were either the wrong bulb size, using HIDs on non HID projectors or the cutoff is broken or missing.
from what ya say it sounds like a bulb issue. theres a sweet spot with a projector tha the bulb has to sit in to have correct output...other then that its like shining light through a magnifying glass.
thanks bb....i'll try and see what type of projectors are they....and is there a way to tell from looking at the projector it self, is it imprinted somewhere on the projector???....or do i have to ask who ever made it??
i remember reading something that adding spacers would change the focal point bwhind the lens or something.. not sure tho
+1
Sometimes people disassemble the projector into two parts. They put the front half infront of the headlight housing, and the other half behind the housing. That increase the gap between the len and reflector of the projector ...
