Do we have one of these threads for our gen?! Just curious... I searched, and didnt see any other than this one for the gen 5's. WIDEST wheels on GEN5/ AGGRESSIVE

what about the "lets talk offsets" thread in the general camry section. people have posted up their wheels size, offset drop, tire size, and issues if any.

Ya, i looked through there too. Couldn't find anything real aggressive for a gen 4 other than a couple of ONE_to_HATE setups. (one i saw in there and the other couple ive seen around the forums.)

Thanks guys for all the great input!
ONE_to_HATE, Couple questions:
1. What kind of tire sizes have you ran on those setups?
2. Any idea what the maximum camber setting is on our cars without a coilover with upper camber adjustments? (What suspension are you currently running?)

^^^
1. for the 18".. i was running 225/45-18. I changed the front tires to 225/40-18 recently though..
2. for the silver-mesh wheels, they were 215/50-17 .. good height but handling was a little sloppy.. maybe because of the taller sidewall - idk? the bronze wheels are using 225/45-17.. and maaan they're awesome!
3. I have no idea on how to play with the camber honestly- the suspension i have are just the tein s-techs and gr.2's..
4. to fit a +10.. i rolled and pulled the fenders a little and ran some ext. studs with a 20mm spacers.
For running aggressive set-ups on lowered Gen4s/Gen 1 Solaras, a spring/strut combo is NOT the way to go. You need something much stiffer to keep from rubbing the fenders/fenderwells. My Works are 18x8.0 with 225/40 rubber all around, and I had serious rubbing issues with my offsets at +22 front, +12 rear unless I was by myself in the car. I had to take the offsets in a bit and went +32 front, +22 rear and go -1.25 deg. rear camber plus toe-in to keep from rubbing.
As for camber on non-coilover setups, camber adjustment on our cars is +/-1.75 degrees if you use SPC camber bolts.
